Jane Rowe assumes leadership of Teachers' Private Capital

TORONTO - Jane Rowe today assumed her new role as Senior Vice-President of Teachers' Private Capital, the private investment department of Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers').

Ms. Rowe has a strong background in credit and equity investing, gained at the Scotiabank Group of companies where she held a number of senior roles over a career spanning more than 20 years. In her most recent position of Executive Vice President, Special Accounts Management and Retail Credit Risk, she was responsible for the strategic global management of workouts and retail credit risks across Scotiabank, where her previous roles included President and CEO of RoyNat Capital Inc, Scotiabank's wholly owned mid-market merchant bank.
